Why are there Password Conditions?

MetricWire abides by the password conditions and standards as outlined in HIPAA guidelines. MetricWire needs to abide by these guidelines in order to cater to researchers collecting sensitive health data.

Your new password must contain:

  • A minimum of 8 characters
  • At least one numeric digit OR special character (#, ^, &, @, etc.)
  • A least one capital letter

Ie. PaSsword8 would be acceptable but password would not.
