Creating Email Templates


An Email Template allows the researcher to customize the email invitation that is sent to participants. The researcher can include a brief description of the survey and stipulations. This is a great option for researcher conducting multiple surveys.

You also have the option of, not sending an invitation through email to participants who already have the app installed on their mobile devices, or if you do not wish to inconvenience them.

Creating Your Template:

  1. Select Email Templates from the Workspaces tray.
  2. Click Create Email Template. From here you can name the template, assign a custom subject line, and customize your message in your own words. 
  3. You can also select this function from the Study Settings page by scrolling to the Email Template drop-down box.
  4. The Email Template Variables allow you to assign specific variables to your email body that can address your participants by name, where they can download the app, etc.
  5. To use Email Template Variables, make sure to copy and paste them properly into your custom email body. Do not delete or rephrase any part of the variables.
  6. You can create more than one Email Template and edit their content as you feel.
  7. To delete an Email Template, scroll to the item you wish to get rid of and select the red Delete button.

 

Your email invitation is the first thing your participants will see. Make sure that all of your instructions and information you wish to provide is laid out in a simple and concise manner.
