How to Match Participant Id's to Participant Email Adress

MetricWire produces a unique identifier code that is assigned to participants when they create an account. This unique id stays with the participant for the duration of their account. While the default option is to keep the email addresses and identifiers separate and anonymous, the platform does provide the option of retrieving this data in the event that this information may be needed.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open the Participant Activity page. 
  2. At the top of this page you have the option of selecting a toggle that will turn anonymous results off
  3. Once you turn this toggle to the OFF position, each participant's unique id code will now appear within the participant activity table beside their email address
  4. From here, you can now select the Export to CSV. 
  5. You now have a CSV file which can be paired up with the raw data exported from the View Responses page.
