Duplicating Studies & Copying/Importing Questions

MetricWire provides an option of duplicating both whole studies as well as question sets. This option allows for researchers to share studies, or replicate studies and questions for segmented panels.

Step-by-step guide:

1. The Duplicate Study option can be found at the bottom of the Study Settings page.
2. By selecting this option, you can rename the copy of your study.
3. You also have the ability to copy the participants currently invited to the original study as well as invite them by email to the duplicated version.
4. To Copy Questions first create a new Study and Survey.
5. In the Add Questions screen, select the Import or Export Questions option.
6. Select Another Surveyfrom the  Import Questions from dropdown menu
7. From here you can select the appropriate questions you would like to import.
8. You may also choose to import question sets in the form of a CSV by selecting the CSV tab from the dropdown.
9. Selecting View Instructions will allow you to download a CSV template and provide information on how to format your text.
