User Submission Location Data

By default, GPS data is actively collected already by the app at the time of submission, and we have recently added the ability to display this information to the researcher through the responses table and exported data.

By selecting this option in the Customize View drop-down on the View Responses page, a new column will populate beside the Timezone column displaying longitude and latitude.

Note:  We advocate the use of the Geolocation question type for participants to ensure an accurate coordinate is logged and the data is accurate. The reason we offer the geolocation question type as an active option is to counteract the disparity that can be associated with the onboard GPS on the device.

While the GPS data associated with the response submission will be available shortly in the responses table/CSV export, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of the coordinates associated with this data.
