Side Panel

The Side Panel contains unique sections that provide more options for data cleaning and customization. 

Step-by-step guide

1. There are 4 sections within the Side Panel. The sections are: Hide/Unhide Columns, Code Non-Responses, Multi-Dimensional Sort, and Format/Group/Code Responses.
   
2. The Hide/Unhide Columns option allows you to select columns you wish to hide or unhide. A checked box next to the column name in this feature will hide that column.
3. The Code Non-Responses option allows you to give non-responses to questions a custom code. The following are the default non-response codes:
   1. SKIPPED
   2. NO_ANSWER
   3. CONDITION_SKIPPED
   4. TIMED_OUT
   5. GROUP_SKIPPED
   6. FORMULA_INCOMPLETE
   7. RESPONSE_HIDDEN
      
4. The Multi-Dimensional Sort feature allows you to sort by multiple columns. As more columns are added to the sort, previous entries take precedence to the resulting sort (ex. sort by age then by country)
   
   1. This would first sort by age- if there are any duplicate age submission, their place in the overall sort is then determined by the next sorting field, country.
5. The Format/Group/Code Responses feature allows you to get a snapshot of a particular column by viewing certain attributes within the data. You may view a list of all the individual responses that were submitted for each column, as well as flag/check/search for data in the corresponding column by creating a series of "rules".
   1. The specific attributes are:
      
      1. Percentage of responses Submitted
      2. Percentage of responses Skipped
      3. Percentage of responses No_Answer
      4. Data Type of Response
