Direct Notifications
Prior to this feature, there was no way to message a specific participant directly from the participant activity table.
Direct Notifications allows researchers to send a Push Notification, SMS or automated Phone Call to one or more participant(s) right from the participant activity table.
Researchers can use this feature to send targeted notifications to participants who may require additional reminders or direction to improve research outcomes.
How The Feature Works
Step 1 - Select Participants
From the Participant Activity Table, select the participants you wish to send a direct notification to and click the ‘Send Direct Notification’ button to launch the Direct Notification Settings Modal

Use Cases
Study Updates
Our users are using this feature to send in-app study updates and motivational messages to participants.
Direct notifications is opening up new opportunities to communicate with participants and provide engaging content.
Additional Reminders
Some participants require additional reminders beyond what a specific trigger may be programmed to deliver. Researchers who notice a participant may be nearing a trigger expiry can use direct notificaitons to gently remind the participant to complete the survey.
Direct notifications is significantly reducing data loss amongst participants who are general less-compliant overall.
